The Matisse table by Oakâme boldly revisits antique oak. Combining clean geometric lines and vibrant finishes, it highlights the natural texture of the wood while adopting a strong contemporary design. Composed of solid beams of century-old oak, reclaimed from old Eastern European buildings dating from the 19th and 20th centuries, each piece is unique and steeped in history.
Through an artisanal assembly of thick boards (80 mm), Matisse celebrates the encounter between raw wood and the expressiveness of color, for a result that is both sculptural and warm.
Each table has an identification plaque that allows you to trace the exact origin of its materials, a true tribute to the memory of wood.
